Retail Terms and Conditions
With the exception of weekends and holidays, we process and ship certain items from our warehouse in Cleveland, Ohio or Connecticut within three business days.
Please note that any special shipping promotions offered are applicable only to packages being shipped to Continental United States addresses. Free shipping is not available to Hawaii, Alaska, or any US Territory or international shipping destinations.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. You may return or exchange your purchase within 15 business days after the purchase date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange after 15 business days have gone by since your purchase.
Products must be returned in the original condition with product tags by following these steps:
1) To prevent handcrafts from becoming damaged during shipping, use appropriate packing and adequate padding.
2) Include a copy of the packing slip.
3) Provide a reason for the return.
4) Email us at Handmade4humanity@gmail.com or call us at 203-942-0145 to obtain a return confirmation and the correct return address. Our items come from different warehouses. We may request a photo of the merchandise to ensure it is in its original packaging and condition so please include it in your email.
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges on any products being returned or exchanged. We recommend using priority mail or a carrier that generates tracking numbers as we cannot be responsible for lost packages.
Returned items that have been altered in any way will not be accepted. Please allow 2-3 weeks for the processing of your return.
Damaged or Defective Goods
We offer our customer the highest quality, handcrafted items from Artisans that take pride in their work. We believe that you will be very pleased with each purchase you make from us. However, if for some reason your package arrives damaged or defective please notify us asap by using the contact us form to describe the nature of the damage. We will respond to you as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Customer service is our number one priority!
We will promptly replace the item at no cost to you and arrange for it to be returned to us if necessary. (Many issues can be handled without returning an item if you send us a photo via email or smart phone.)
Note: Please keep packaging and contents until you hear from us as without them we can not process a damage claim.
